Memphi Ouro Dinner

On June 5th, the Ouro of the Mystic Society of the Memphi, held a celebratory dinner at The Peabody Hotel in the Continental Ballroom.  We loved working with Chantal Johnson on the concept of the dinner, as no detail was overlooked.

The guests were first greeted on the mezzanine to floral arches of white and green hydrangea, and roses and a floral ram, the symbol of the Ouro, on a wall of boxwood at the end.

The 24' long guest tables, covered in custom linens from I Do Linens were adorned with low and tall arrangements of white and green hydrangea, peonies, and vendela roses and interspersed with floating candles in glass. In the middle of the dance floor was a custom crown and sword decal also produced by I Do Linens.

Conlee Adams and Alex Stringfellow

We had a wonderful time working with Russell and Ruthie Events on Conlee and Alex's wedding at The Memphis Hunt and Polo Club.  The bride wanted flowers to flow over the consoles in the entry.  We used bridal wreath spirea and mock orange with white peonies, viburnum and hydrangea.

Vines with lights were interspersed throughout the club.  Fabric and lights draped the ceilings of the ballroom and the reception tent.  The food tables in the ballroom were dressed with linens from La Tavola Linens and were highlighted by over sized urns filled with Viburnum, Hydrangea, and Spirea.  The planners at Russell and Ruthie Events  chose to mix McCarty's Pottery with antique silver.

On the event lawn we used a teak table and antique barn wood as the seafood station.  Italian Party lights were strung throughout the lawn.  The seafood station was decorated with two huge terra cotta pots filled with Hydrangeas and Mock Orange.
